REMOTE ONLINE NOTARIZATION (RON)
Remote Online Notarizations Bring a Whole New Meaning to Convenience!
During the height of the pandemic, when social distancing and "stay at home" orders were mandatory, the Texas Secretary of State allowed for notarizations to take place virtually. Texas is one of the handful of states that has made that change permanent.

How does it work?
You will be invited to an approved and secure platform where the notarization will take place.
You will be required to pass verification and security questions. You will also upload a form of identification.
Once you have satisfied the requirements, you will be connected to a notary. You will be required to have your video on. The notary will then compare the identification you uploaded.
If there aren't any discrepancies with the identification, the signing will begin. If you have ever signed anything electronically (a contract, an application, etc), the process is very similar.
Once all required fields have been completed, you're all done!
